Anew

there are no endings filling cups
with liquids meant to moisten
trees and canopies of jungles
foggy mountains green umbrellas

insects live at breakneck speeds
making them absorb the worlds
needs as clouds give way to day
as day breaks clouds misdeeds

snakes and lizards feed and creep
up mushroom kingdoms spore-like
feet and legs that house the microbes
speak to roots that grow so deep

amphibious or mammalian
in form their matter matters not
to breathe the air; to hunt and eat
and sleep and dream a world unique

feathered and scaled; fy to swim
gliding slitherly through the thicket
thinking therefore not one was wicked to
peck the insects eyes out

and then the humans free market
jumbotron corporate alliance injector
sucks the wealth of nature from underneath
her bosom through her cradle

predator and prey; creators and clay
concrete and steel plates rising high
the real estate consumes the empty land
with nothing but ownership and entitlement

things may not look good from here;
however, there are natives of this earth
that cherish her and respect the air and the
waters that breathe life into life into life...

without them we can not succeed
and we will all bleed into the cracks we made
we must have a voice that not just speaks
but screams the truth from the highest peaks

you have a voice and it will be heard
when we're all one inside the furnace of the sun
spinning and expanding as a red giant should
another system will be made and it will be understood

instead

cracks of dawn
beyond redrawn
horizons

sitting down
on glass hilltops
sharp edged peaks

raining wet
sunrise sunset
watching clouds invent

better things
falling from skies
instead

Nothing Something Everyone (in haiku series)

...nothing instantly
disappears into thin air
it was never there

something desperate
begging to be desired
always existed

everyone outside
hover thoughts within our minds
have become nothing...

Start Again When You
Finish You Begin Again
When You Start Again
