smile, cry, sigh

its not hard to smile like it
means something to you and your
smelling handwriting on walls
written letters brought to school
at work and poems left on desks
for working hard students failing
classes meant for adults and grandparents

it's not soft to cry when it
cleans everything for you and your
dwelling pondering in halls
recorded speeches left at school
at home and stanzas placed on seats
of congressman womens and mens sailing
on taxes meant for people and students

it's normal to sigh since we
gleam nothing to them and their
swelling wondering brains
transmitted impulses left on the screen
in view and dynamic spikes spark
scientists of all races and creeds studying
the waxing of waning and humanities art
